Have you ever felt stuck in a creative rut? It happens to the best of us, creative and non-artistic alike.
What if there were programs out there designed to spark instant creativity? I'm here to talk you through some amazing websites that let the computer do all the inspiring for you, all you need to do is choose.
Let's start with my favorite: COLOR.
Hellloooo beautiful, beautiful, colors. Sometimes the hardest part in designing... is finding the perfect palette that reflects every emotion a company wants to represent. Lucky for us, we have access to an AMAZING free tool that helps narrow down the decision making. Let me introduce to you www.coolers.co an amazing color generator for people who don't know where to begin.
First you'll need to jump onto the generator to get started!
Here is the first pallette Coolors.co selects.
To me I love deep reds so that jumped out to me immediately.
If we want deep red we need to "Lock It" in place. From here you can click the spacebar to generate all new color choices surrounding that luscious red.
Now I'm seeing a white-grey that I am being drawn to after locking that in place these three brown shades came into fruition. Now with red (out of place) we can look at alternative shades to complete the theme.

Next Get Inspired: FROM COLORS.
Maybe for you, you love a color or even a specific palette that you've found but you're not inspired on how to use it. Good news! There is also a tool for that. It's time to Dribbble (yes... 3 b's). Let's head on over to www.dribbble.com to get our creative juices flowing.
Remember that White- Grey we found at the bottom of Coolers.co? We can use that hex code (#DCE0D9) for our next site.
Dribbble.com is a great resource for artists and even those needing a simple creative push.
Once on the site, you'll want to head to the right 3 dots and go to > Colors.
Here we can use that hex code we mentioned earlier (for the White-Grey) and apply it to the top of the page. Once you submit the color the website will automatically generate hundreds of pieces artists have submitted using THE SAME COLOR. Woah... talk about pin-spiration.
There you have it, two simple online tools to launch your brand bursting into color.
